Who’s hosting ‘SNL’ tonight? Cast, musical guest, more

“Saturday Night Live” is set to air its seventh episode of Season 50 this weekend with its host pulling double duty as both emcee and musical guest.
This Saturday’s episode will be hosted by singer Charli XCX, marking her fist time ever as host on the long-running comedy show, according to NBC. The Grammy-nominated singer has previously appeared in two pre-tapedsketches on the long-time comedy show: “The Christmas Socks” (with actor Paul Rudd) and “Meatballs” (with actor Oscar Isaac).
Last weekend, comedian and actor Bill Burr hosted the show for his second time. Singer-songwriter Mk.gee was the musical guest.

British pop star Charli XCX will also serve as this weekend’s musical guest, marking her third time in the role on the show.

Released in June, the musician’s “Brat” album has taken the world by storm, with the bright “brat green” color ruling summer outfits and the “Apple Dance” taking over social media. The album was ranked No. 19 on the Billboard Top 200 chart on Thursday.
The Nov. 16 “SNL” episode will be available to watch live on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT. Viewers can also stream it the next day on Peacock.
